Then come and join our Core Lab Solution (CLS) SCM global supply planning team as Senior Manager, Distribution Supply Planning to lead and collaborate with HQ and zone supply chain organizations for inventory and supply optimization.

This role will be located at Dublin/Swords, Ireland.

This role is ideal for an ambitious professional seeking the next step in their career. As a key leader within the CLS SCM Global Planning team, the Senior Manager will drive strategic initiatives across global inventory optimization, country replenishment process improvement, and resource allocation. The position plays a critical role in ensuring timely, cost-effective product delivery globally while enhancing operational efficiency and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Optimization: Develop and execute strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize excess and shortages, and ensure product availability across global markets.
  • Net Requirements Planning: Utilize DRP systems to forecast inventory needs, analyze demand trends, and plan material replenishment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in distribution and supply chain operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HQ Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Zone Planning teams to align stocking strategies and resolve operational issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and manage KPIs related to order fulfillment, inventory turnover, and backorder reduction.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for backorders, abnormal demand, and supply disruptions.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and consistency of planning and master data across systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in DRP and MRP tools and planning software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics principles

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Logistics and/or equivalent professional experience (Finance degree a plus)
  • 8+ years of experience in managing complex medical device or related industry supply chain in global environment.
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects
  • Advanced knowledge of Plan systems and processes (SAP, Kinaxis). Experience in a structured business process (e.g. SIOP, S&OP, IBP) strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions.
