We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Calibre DRC R&D in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

• Design, enhance, implement, and deliver software that meets standards for functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability.
• Work with other developers to manage dependencies, resolve integration issues, and address product workflow challenges.
• Take part in design, specification, and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Support project planning by analyzing tasks, breaking down work, estimating timelines, and keeping stakeholders informed of risks and progress.
• Create functional and design specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing and QA teams to understand customer needs and ensure they are reflected in the product.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of IC design flow, semiconductor fabrication, or physical verification is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern C++ standards (C++11/14 and later) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and share knowledge effectively.
