Our global team of innovators is always looking to create meaningful solutions to some of the toughest challenges facing our world. Find out how far your passion can take you.

About the Job

The Director of Digital will own the end-to-end strategy for Brightly Software’s digital experiences. The mission of this role is to generate more qualified leads and inbound pipeline, significantly increase organic website traffic, improve website engagement, and ensure optimal visibility in traditional and AI-powered search results. This role is also critical in upholding and reinforcing Brightly's brand identity across all digital touchpoints, balancing lead generation with consistent brand representation. This includes responsibility for SEO, SEM, paid social, and overall website experience, along with reporting on related key metrics.

What you will do

  • Lead, develop, and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies and tactics in alignment with reinforcing Brightly's brand identity and demand generation campaigns to increase lead generation, revenue, and return on investment.
  • Drive strategy and planning for Brightly’s digital presence, ensuring scale to support growth (M&A, international expansion, product launches, etc.) and achieve business results, always with an eye towards brand consistency.
  • Own the Brightly Software website experience, performance, and ongoing delivery. Work closely with the marketing organization to optimize the website experience and deliver continuous improvements on key performance metrics such as SEO results, return on ad spend, total engagement, conversions, and lead quality and volume.
  • Lead and inspire a team consisting of a UX/UI Designer, CRO Manager, and Paid Media Manager, fostering a culture that values both performance and brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with content, design, web developers, and other digital collaborators across marketing and the organization to build best-in-class digital experiences that are both high-performing and on-brand.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate a roadmap for ongoing website improvements by working closely with key cross-functional partners, ensuring enhancements align with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and lead website operations including web content management, sitemap, navigation, localization, and analytics to improve discoverability (SEO, including optimization for AI search results and conversational interfaces), user experience, and conversion.
  • Drive comprehensive SEO strategy with agency partners, including content improvements, keyword optimization, link building, and technical SEO activities to improve authority, organic traffic, engagement, and visibility in evolving search landscapes (including AI search).
  • Manage and optimize key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action, and lead-generating forms, including end-to-end tagging, tracking, and attribution logic.
  • Monitor overall web performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager to provide data-driven recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, and acquisition by channel, ensuring data insights also inform brand perception.
  • Use data to develop informed points of view and define critical metrics to measure the success of your digital strategy. Work closely with developers, creative teams, and marketing operations to bring your vision to life, ensuring all executions are brand-compliant.

What makes you a standout

  • Demonstrated success in scaling digital marketing strategies for high-growth environments, including SaaS and product-led growth models.
  • Expertise in driving significant organic website traffic and improving search visibility, with a strong grasp of technical SEO and evolving search technologies.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and agency partners, with a track record of delivering results while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience balancing performance marketing with brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

What you need

  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience, including website strategy, A/B testing and optimization, and paid media account management (paid search and social).
  • Team leadership experience in digital marketing.
  • Proven ability to drive significant organic website traffic and improve search visibility across various platforms, including emerging AI search technologies.
  • Strong understanding of brand principles and experience in ensuring brand adherence across all digital channels.
  • Experience with product-led growth models, thought leadership engagement models, SaaS, and time within a high-growth environment.
  • Great project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills — scope work, drive execution, and deliver on tight deadlines while working with multiple collaborators.
  • Experience managing agency partners and third-party partners for SEO and web development.
  • Ability to assess and improve site tag management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (ideally at a SaaS business).
