Would you like to actively shape sustainability in substation automation with creative solutions as part of a team? Then this position is tailor-made for you. In an agile team, we work together to develop sustainable energy and propulsion concepts that we implement worldwide with our customers. From generators and batteries to fuel cells, the solutions are as diverse as they are innovative. Your role extends from system-engineering to commissioning on board the ship.


How You'll Make an Impact
• Design and configure Substation Control and Monitoring Systems (SCMS)
• Set up and program RTUs using SICAM or similar systems
• Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces 
• Integrate substation devices using communication protocols (IEC 104, IEC 61850, Modbus, etc.)
• Perform Pre-FAT, FAT at Factory
• Perform system testing, SAT, and commissioning at site
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure reliable communication between devices and SCADA
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (I/O lists, configurations, reports)
• Ethernet Switch & GPS Configuration
• Provide technical support and maintenance for installed systems
• Travelling to customer sites for longer durations (around 2-3 months) would be part of this role. (Domestic as well as International/Middle East)

• You are a graduate in Instrumentation, Electrical or Automation Engineering with consistent track record and relevant experience of 6 to 8 years in SCMS Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Candidate should be comfortable to travel over the Middle East region
• Specific Skill set related to Siemens products

o SICAM SCC
o SICAM A8000
o Zenon (Copa-Data)
o Basic Cybersecurity

• Common skill set – 

o IEC 61850
o IEC 104
o IEC 101
o Modbus RTU
o Modbus TCP/IP
o SIPROTEC devices & DIGSI
o Networking (Ethernet Switches, Firewalls – Ruggedcom & Scalance)
