For Mobility Customer Service in Shanghai, we are looking for Site Material Logistic Professional to shape the connected Mobility with us.

What are your responsibilities?
Material Management:
• Develop and implement inventory strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate material procurement plans based on project timelines and milestones.
• Assuring the timely and automatically replenishment of consumables and spares prior to the reaching of critically low levels
• Ensure all materials meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Follow-up of procurement process, monitor and upkeep of procurement documents
• Managing the obsolescence problem of spares and finding alternative sourcing when needed.

Logistics Coordination:
• Manage the transportation and delivery of materials to construction sites, ensuring timely arrival.
• Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Oversee the import/export of materials when required, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Supplier and Vendor Coordination:
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
• Manage supplier performance, including delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Adjudication of prospective suppliers and contractors pricing, quality and service.
• Securing of conformance of the procured materials with the requirements / specification.
• Coordination of inspections for materials manufactured by external contractors.

Warehouse and Storage Management:
• Supervise the setup and operation of storage facilities for materials and equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation and inventory control systems (CORMAP®).
• Implement safety standards and procedures for material handling and storage.
• Supervision and co-ordination of staff engaged in store activities and compilation and maintenance of records of supply transactions

Cost and Budget Control:
• Monitor material and logistics costs to ensure alignment with the project budget.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to forecast material requirements.
• Coordinate with commercial and procurement departments on contract and budget updates.

Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Prepare regular reports on material usage, inventory levels, and logistics performance.

What do you need to qualify for this job?
Education and Experience:
• Has a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in material and logistics management, proven experience in the rolling stock, rail transit, infrastructure, or construction sectors is a plus.

Technical Expertise
• Proficient in inventory management systems, ERP software, and procurement tools.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and warehouse management.

Skills:
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to liaise with teams and stakeholders.
• Has a good command of both the spoken and written English, has an experience working with the multi-national company is a plus.
