Mission of Function?

As our Quality Supervision Engineer, you will play a critical role in manufacturing quality management and driving for continuous quality improvement. Embed quality requirements in manufacturing process when very early creating phase, quality risk early control and eliminate with effective usage of quality tools and methodologies to delivery sustainable and preventive manufacturing quality.

What are my responsibilities?

• Production quality / return goods quality KPI management and continue improvement by quality data maintenance and good analysis with quality data system and quality methodologies.

• Moderate PFMEA workshop, together with team to identify potential risks and plan measures.

• Coordinate and implement on-line audit to ensure effective measures for stable process quality.

• Quality assurance for the new products and ensure good quality performance to release for mass run.

• Built up Q-requirements into VSM & VAG workshop to install measures at early stage to reduce quality risk.

• Transfer Q- requirements to be production Q-control points by control plan or IPQC control.

• Driving quality problem solving via Q- methodologies, like 4D/ 8D, decision making when necessary.

• Promote quality CIP activities for manufacturing quality continuous improvement

• Lead OOB findings quickly root cause investigation and effective measures taken by 8D method.

• Moderate daily Q- meetings to track and push the quality issues solving which are found in production line.

• Control and reduce additional quality cost via quality improvement activities.

• Work with Team for manufacturing quality issues improvement in customer satisfaction.

• Quality benchmark and improvement with sending site.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in electrical engineering related.

• More than 3 years of manufacturing quality control (electronics, motor etc.) or related working experience

• Know quality methodologies and tools (ISO, 8D, 6 sigma, FMEA, Control plan, SPC…)

• Strong ownership & quality leadership (high quality sense, continuous improvement mindset and leading quality improvement activities)

• Good cross function communication and cooperation skills

• Good presentation and reporting skills.

• Technical background of electrical engineering and familiar with PLC, driver related automation and application system is preferred

• Good English communication skill is preferred
