This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As Head of Solution Development for Technology Excellence (TE), Medical Electronics (ME), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Bangalore you will be responsible for:

• Develop mission, vision and strategy of Medical Electronics PLM India in full alignment with Healthineers Global Medical Electronics PLM organization in SHS TE ME PLM

• Establish excellent solution development medical electronics and computing services and support out of India to deliver innovative and excellent knowhow and experience

• In the first phase you will be responsible for getting to know organizational interfaces within Medical Electronics, and conducting benchmarks together with internal stakeholders to establish a potential local supplier base

• In the second phase you will ramp up a team of approx. 5 people and will be responsible for the corresponding local budget allocation. In the following years we plan to increase the team further by additional domain competencies

• Lead TE ME PLM SD Bangalore India to enable business line (BL) and cross business line (xBL) synergies and to ensure implementation of Healthineers TE ME PLM strategy with impact on platforms, value stream, and product lifecycle management, while developing and supporting a collaborative mindset in the organization.

• Drive strategic medical electronics topics in India covering electronics design, computing, development, testing and lifecycle management 

• Collaborate with local partners and vendor ecosystems to gain regional insights and contribute to create regional benefits.

Required skills necessary for the success of this role

• At least 5-7 years’ experience in R&D areas such as electronics engineering or similar
• University degree in electrical/electronics engineering systems, preferably supplemented with an MBA
• Deep knowledge of electronics design topics (hardware, embedded software, FPGA), printed circuit board manufacturing / processes and local ecosystems
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management process including R&D and engineering processes and all relevant interfaces between phases and to other processes
• Knowledge of healthcare domain-specific products and technologies
• Experience in innovation management and project management methods involving diverse stakeholders
• High motivation and drive as a foundation for succeeding in challenging xBL / BA environment as well as collaborative working culture to generate cross value and synergies
• Successful leadership experience is required
• Fluent English skills both in verbal and written form
