At Siemens Digital Industries Software, we are shaping the future of compute-intensive engineering, science, and AI. Our mission is to make HPC more accessible, efficient, and intelligent for users and administrators across the world’s leading industries.
We are hiring a Product Manager to lead HPCWorks Access - our intuitive portal for remote HPC job submission and visualization - and HPCWorks Insight Pro - our powerful monitoring and analytics solution for HPC system performance. Together, these tools form the user interaction and observability layer of our HPC ecosystem.
In this role, you will define product direction, partner with customers and engineering, and ensure that HPC environments deliver exceptional usability, visibility, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for HPCWorks Access and HPCWorks Insight Pro - enabling seamless user workflows and operational transparency.
- Drive intuitive user experiences for job submission, data access, visualization, and workflow interaction across distributed compute environments.
- Deliver actionable insights to HPC administrators through monitoring, analytics, and trend visualization for system health and resource efficiency.
- Lead integration efforts with workload schedulers, identity systems, storage platforms, and telemetry sources for a unified user platform.
- Engage directly with customers and end-users to gather insights and prioritize features that drive adoption and customer success.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, support, and go-to-market teams to ensure successful development and rollout of new capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of complex software products - ideally in HPC, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise IT.
- Understanding of HPC workflows and workload schedulers (e.g., PBS Professional, Slurm, Grid Engine).
- Familiarity with observability and telemetry tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, custom dashboards, etc.).
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to collaborate closely on architecture, UX, and performance.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort representing the product with customers and stakeholders.
- Passion for driving modern, user-centric HPC experiences in hybrid and cloud-enhanced environments.
