Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
A Maintenance Engineer in the machine tool industry is responsible for maintaining,
troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. This role
involves ensuring the optimal performance of machine tools, minimizing downtime, and implementing
preventive maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machine tools and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in CNC machines
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Attend shutdown Maintenance work fall on holiday/Sunday
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Work in all three shifts on a rotation basis & 6 days shifts.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting
- operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order necessary components. Supervise and train junior
- maintenance staff.

Qualifications:
- B. Tech / bachelor’s in electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the machine tool industry.
- Strong knowledge of different types of CNC machines-HBMs, VMCs, VTLs, CNC Lathes,
- conventional Lathes, Milling machines, Surface Grinding machines and other machine tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills:
- 8-10 Years Hands-on experience in Maintenance field – Heavy Engineering Machine Tool Ind.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software i.e. CMMS
- Proficiency in Office-365
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eager to learn new skills & have hands-on experience to work on machinery, different types of EOT, Cranes / MHE vehicle
- Having knowledge of ISO:9001, 14001 & 45001 standards
