Develops and implements plans and solutions in order to ensure Customs compliance and process optimization. Contributes to the definition and implementation of Customs Control regulations in own area of responsibility.

Education and Experience

What experience and education does the incumbent need for this function?

 

 

Experience

 

Professional having 06-08 years of experience in handling Imports & Exports operations in STPI, SEZ & manufacturing for the Healthcare / FMCG sector and passion for customer service. Able to develop effective processes to ensure full compliance with local & international regulations. Proficient in a variety of logistics and supply chain software for mapping business requirements and keeping track of service providers / CHA / FF KPIs.

 

 

Education & Training

 

Bachelor degree in Science / Commerce streams preferred

PG - MBA in Supply Chain Management / International Trade (added advantage) 

Diploma in Import & Export

Excellent Command of Written & Spoken ENGLISH

Training on Personality Development & Interpersonal Skills set

Training on Export Control dynamics & Process

 

 

Additions/Comments

 

Exposure of such projects shall be added advantage:-

  • Team lead or member of the Merger & Acquisition Team
  • Well-versed with Special Economic Zone Polices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Industry related forums like AHPI (Association of Healthcare Providers), FICCI
