How you’ll make an impact
- You lead regional PLM and product marketing teams to establish and implement portfolio strategies.
- You work closely with Sales, BD, Operations, Marketing, and Vertical Solutions to ensure cohesive product management, and you ensure accurate and timely product-related data for partners, including pricing, features, and competitive insights.
- You and your team assess key market segments (Utilities, TSO, Industry, Infrastructure, Data Centers) and identify growth opportunities, you analyze competitive landscape, customer difficulties, regulatory shifts, and technology trends, and you translate market requirements into a region-optimized, profitable portfolio.
- You are responsible for the full lifecycle from introduction to phase-out in alignment with global PLM guidelines, you drive cost optimization, localization, and compliance with regional standards, and you initiate and evaluate product improvements, phase-outs, and new portfolio ideas supported by data-driven analyses.
- You develop and maintain the regional innovation roadmap aligned with Siemens global strategy, you drive collaboration with R&D and HQ PLM to support innovation initiatives and IP creation, and you identify new technologies and market disruptions relevant to our portfolio.
- You maintain regular engagement with customers, partners, suppliers, and standardization bodies, you collaborate with global and regional leadership to ensure portfolio competitiveness and alignment, and you represent the region in PLM strategy discussions and portfolio steering committees.
Your defining qualities
- You have proven experience in Product Lifecycle Management or Product Portfolio Management.
- You have a solid understanding of low-voltage and medium-voltage products (AIS, GIS, MV products, protection relays, and automation/IoT).
- You have experience in regional power distribution market dynamics, standards, and competitive landscapes.
- You have a proven track record to lead teams in a matrix organization, a strong business sense, analytical capabilities, and critical thinking.
- You have a university degree and many years of experience in PLM-related positions.
- Excellent communication, partner management, and decision-making skills complete your profile.
