You'll make an impact by
- Standard development & Optimization: Develop and maintain national, industry, and internal technical standards for electrical and automation products to ensure compliance with the latest safety and performance requirements.
- Regulation & Market Monitoring: Continuously track domestic and international electrical standards, regulations, and technological trends (e.g., IEC, GB standards) and assess their impact on existing product lines.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare standardization documents, test specifications, and training materials; organize internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing events.
- Cross Department Collaboration: Work with the supply-chain team to ensure supplier products meet company standards; cooperate with the quality department to resolve standard-related quality issues.
- Technical review & support: Serve as a technical consultant, participate in new-product R&D reviews, and provide standard compliance analysis and technical support for the sales team.
- Owner for exchange with HQ Standard team regularly. And update to China PLM team.
Your defining qualities
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or Standardization-related disciplines.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical basics of related products, power distribution systems and segment solutions is required. Experience in standards or technical-specification work is preferred.
- Monitoring/learning relevant standards for EA portfolios. Like AIS, GIS, VCB
- Furthermore, actively participating in standardization working groups to have early information and as good as possible influence the standards in favor of Siemens.
- Monitoring standards in CN and exchange with globally in general and especially for power distribution systems and solutions.
- Align with global teams with the same standards where applicable and make our data based on same foundation/data base
- Capable to join standardization groups for sustainability topics and willing to represent Siemens interests.
The skills you are expected to have
- Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation abilities; capable of driving consensus and collaboration across departments and organizations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong technical-writing and report-drafting capabilities.
- Proficient in reading and writing English, able to read and comprehend international standard documents. Good English skills for excellent cooperation with EA global standard team.
- Team working spirit and working well within a matrix organization.
- Strategic thinking is capable to create action plans, with responsible people and follow up.
