Your mission will be… 
  • The overall responsibility for the service including the communication with the key stakeholders
  • Ensure the service meets the needs of Siemens businesses and delivers the agreed business benefits.
  • Coordinate development and implementation as a Product Owner
  • Create and align user stories, testing of features, support in defect analysis)
  • Orchestrate cross-service integration aspects of service (compatibilities, dependencies etc.) and their fit to Siemens IT landscape.
  • Ensure service quality (e.g. incident, problem, performance and escalation management) daily
  • Drive the adaptation of the service across Siemens
  • Conduct Continuous service improvements and enhancement
  • Contribute to the implementation of knowledge management standards by gathering, analyzing, sorting, and sharing relevant information.
  • Provide functional advice and training to operational staff (e.g. SD staff) or semi-professional colleagues.
  • Coordinate SLA/OLA creation, reviews, and updates.
  • Oversee services or solution related performance and delivery indicators.
  • Identify and publish service metrics.
  • Point of contact for the respective service or process
  • Provide technical service expertise
  • Contribute in PoCs, service transitions, service development activities, and projects.
  • Contribute and support planning, budgeting, design, and alignment of service management processes.

We are looking for someone with…
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields;
  • At least 3 to 4 years of proven working experience as a Service manager in the information technology sector;
  • Strong Communication skills (Service Manager, Service Provider, Business Analysts, Developers);
  • Strong analytical capabilities needed to be able to overlook the complex integration aspects and dependencies to other processes and services;
  • Used to act in an international environment with virtual teams;
  • Knowledge on ITIL Service Management processes;
  • Knowledge on Service Orchestration aspects;
  • Knowledge on Agile Software Development;
  • Knowledge on Service Now;
  • Customer orientation;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in English is a must have, basic German is considered a plus.
