We are a leading global software company dedicated to the world of computer aided design, 3D modeling and simulation — helping innovative global manufacturers design better products, faster! With the resources of a large company, and the energy of a software start-up, we have fun together while crafting a world class software portfolio. Our culture encourages creativity, welcomes fresh thinking, and focuses on growth, so our people, our business, and our customers can achieve their full potential.

Position Overview

The Results Post Processing Team oversees a wide range of program management activities within the HyperWorks development group. This involves FEA result postprocessing, data reporting and visualization, and customization. A large part of the team’s activities is interdepartmental collaboration and close cooperation with the core infrastructure teams that are working on the foundations for the next generation of our CAE solutions.

The team now has an opening for two internship roles. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Product Managers responsible for Results Post Processing. They will be assisting with creating requirements, testing, and demonstrating new features, providing feedback to the development and documentation teams, while internally benchmarking a solution workflow and performance to meet real-world use cases.

Result post processing spans across results visualization, plotting dashboards of charts and creating reports. Hence, the role will require the applicant to be willing to work with a broad range of solutions and applications, while looking at them holistically from a user's point of view.

What you will be doing
  • Assist Product Managers with developing demos, documentation and community content for HyperMesh and extensions
  • Assist Product Managers and the development team with testing and evaluating the software and identifying issues (performance, stability, usability)
  • Assist the Training Team with creating training examples and content capturing new features
  • Working with internal technical teams and assisting them with customization-related issues and with customers transitioning to the next generation of our solutions
  • Follow customer/industry requirements and competitors’ offering

What you will bring

Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Solid understanding of Finite Element Methods (FEM) and familiarity with FEA principles and applications
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling seamless collaboration across our international team
  • Passion for creating user-centered solutions and clear technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Simcenter Hypermesh product suite, or similar
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Tcl/Tk, Python or other)
  • Demonstrate the ability to work across functional and geographical regions
  • Capability to work individually and in a team, productively collaborate with others, listen, and relate to ideas proposed by others
  • Genuine curiosity about software development and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas beyond assigned tasks
