What will you do?
• Lead daily operations of the prefabrication area, including punching, painting, bending machines, manual welding, spot welding, and automated welding processes.
• Oversee workforce planning, shift coordination, and task assignments, ensuring safe and efficient execution of activities.
• Drive material efficiency initiatives, scrap reduction programs, and optimization of productivity across all processes.
• Ensure equipment availability through coordination with maintenance and implementation of preventive actions.
• Analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement Lean and Industrial Engineering methodologies.
• Train, guide, and evaluate team members, promoting a culture of discipline, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure product quality standards by supporting inspections, audits, and corrective actions when required.
• Collaborate closely with production planning, engineering, quality, maintenance, and safety departments.
• Maintain updated documentation related to processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in metal‑mechanical or prefabrication environments.

Hands‑on experience with:
• Punching processes.
• Painting processes (powder coating, liquid paint, or similar).
• Bending machines / press brakes.
• Manual welding (MIG/TIG).
• Spot welding.
• Automated welding systems.

• Proven track record leading material‑efficiency and productivity‑improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and supervising direct labor personnel.
• Strong background in Industrial Engineering concepts and Continuous Improvement tools.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).

• Time and motion analysis.
• Line balancing.
• Workflow and process optimization.
• Capacity planning.
• Standardization of work.
• Layout improvement and workstation design.
• Scrap and rework analysis.
• Tooling and equipment specification.
• 5S and workplace organization.
• Kaizen / Continuous improvement events.
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Problem solving: 8D, A3, 5 Why’s.
• SMED.
• Visual management.
• Waste reduction methodologies (Muda, Mura, Muri).
