Today, we are recruiting for a CAD Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What Are My Responsibilities?
- Produce and update CAD drawings for signalling, telecom, FSCADA, and railway systems in accordance with approved project standards.
- Support engineering teams by preparing layouts, schematics, block diagrams, and equipment arrangement drawings.
- Manage drawing revisions, layer structures, symbols, and templates in line with established CAD standards.
- Convert engineering markups and site redlines into final as-built drawings.
- Perform drawing quality checks, including accuracy, scaling, formatting, and title block compliance.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure drawing consistency and alignment across disciplines.
What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with MicroStation or similar CAD tools is an advantage.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong spatial awareness and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of railway signalling or telecom systems.
- Exposure to BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks.
