Working for Siemens Financial Services Information Technology (SFS IT), you will drive the continuous enhancement of our CREDIT Customer Tool by translating business requirements into IT solutions and collaborating closely with both our interdisciplinary and international team of IT experts as well as our business stakeholders throughout the implementation process. The CREDIT Customer Tool is a business-critical application that provides credit rating information and credit limits to Siemens entities worldwide, supporting essential credit management and risk assessment processes across the organization. In this role, you will gain valuable exposure to various business areas within Siemens Financial Services, working hand in hand with business teams to understand their needs and ensure our solutions deliver real impact.
What part will you play?
- Be the first contact to consult our internal customers in all aspects of the innovative solutions in your area (2nd level)
- Analyze business processes and requirements and design IT solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Select the right technologies, considering market trends, technical and economic feasibility
- Optimize existing solutions and processes, e. g. by process harmonization, consolidation of applications, interfaces, and other IT Services
- Optimize operations while ensuring that regulatory and security requirements as well as agreed service levels are met
- Provide trainings to our end users
- Be part of our excellent collaboration team, together with our internal and external stakeholders
What you need to make real what matters.
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business or Business information systems, or equivalent education qualification
- You have an excellent IT Know-How and experience in Financial Services (e. g. Controlling and Financial Reporting, Financial Instruments, Leasing and Factoring Business, Risk Management and Risk Controlling Business) and related processes gathered through relevant work experiences
- You gained 5-7 years professional experience in IT projects especially with global banking / treasury systems as well as knowledge of SQL, ideally you have experience in SAP
- You have experience as member of an international, virtual team and working with external partners
- You have experience in agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM
- You have experience in operations and development of IT applications (e. g. ITIL), ideally ITIL certificate
- Analytical information processing and decision-making competences
- Strong customer orientation
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- Fluent business English (speaking and writing)
