Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Railway Signalling Design and Verification Engineer role for our team in Bangkok.

The key responsibilities include:
- Design signalling system components, including but not limited to Control Tables, Scheme Plans, Circuit Diagrams, Interlocking Data, NV Data, and overall system designs. All deliverables must align with customer requirements and comply with company, safety, and legal standards.
- Review and verify signalling design components to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and functionality, while confirming compliance with customer, company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform or support design activities related to ETCS, CTC, and railway communication systems.
- Ensure the successful delivery of signalling designs, including managing system interfaces and integration with other engineering disciplines or subsystems.
- Support system assurance and RAMS activities as required.
- Conduct “Set to Work” simulation tests and support Principle Testing in an office environment, as well as assist with site-based testing and commissioning activities when needed.
- Provide support in tendering and project planning, including effort estimation, defining scope, and preparing testing plans.
Use your skills to move the world forward
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- Professional experience in signalling design and testing activities within customer project environments.
- Strong technical expertise in railway systems and equipment, with sufficient foundational knowledge to evaluate technical solutions and propose innovative alternatives.
- Existing formal competency certifications, or the capability to obtain them (e.g., IRSE), would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge and experience across multiple design domains, including systems engineering, signalling, train control, train protection, and communication systems.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel according to project needs.
- High level of self-discipline with strict adherence to quality processes, documentation, and procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
