Purpose:

The MTS Indirect Channel Development professional within the Sales Domain Management organization in the Zone is a key individual contributor role responsible for executing and supporting the implementation of the global MTS JEDI (Job Shops, Education, Dealers Initiative) blueprint into actionable initiatives across the selected LCBs within the Zone. This role bridges global strategy and local execution, driving demand for MTS solutions through indirect channels such as job shops, educational institutions, and machine tool dealers. By enabling consistency, scalable, and measurable implementation of strategic initiatives tailored to diverse local market dynamics, the role ensures alignment, impact, and growth across all LCBs within the Zone.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Execution

• Apply the global MTS JEDI (Job Shops, Education, Dealers Initiative) framework locally, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and scalability across the Zone.

• You have a driving role in the development of new business opportunities, plan the activities and are responsible for the subsequent implementation.

• Develop long-term relationships with local clients, end-users and educational institutes.

2. Job Shops Engagement

• Implement targeted outreach campaigns to expand visibility and adoption among small and medium-sized job shops of MTS solutions.

• Organize events, workshops, open house and fairs with the target to promote the Siemens offer for Machine tool market

3. Education Partnerships

• Identify and engage educational institutions to scale student training on MTS Solutions and foster future workforce loyalty.

• Acts as a primary contact for local educational institutes for training and education on Siemens CNC technology by implementing Siemens’ TTT (Train The Trainer) and certification program.

4. Dealer Enablement

• Strengthen relationships with local machine tool dealers to drive indirect sales and amplify market presence of MTS solutions.

• Represents Siemens as the primary contact for machine tool importers, dealers and educational institutes in Brazil.

• Analyzes and plans sales volume potential together with machine tool importers and dealers.

5. Performance Monitoring

• Track execution outcomes, measure impact, and report results to ensure continuous improvement.

• Provides the necessary data regarding installed machine base in the Siemens CRM system.

6. Stakeholder Coordination

• Align local initiatives with OEM Push actions and collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Domains) for unified market impact.

• In conjunction with local and International OEM sales teams, manage machine tool dealer development through training and technical support.

• Cooperate with the marketing team to implement marketing campaigns and analyze the follow-up activities in order to measure the effectiveness of the promotion and support in comparison with the agreed KPIs

What skills do you need to make real what matters?

• Engineering degree in the field of mechatronics or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of machine design, configurations of CNC control systems and servo drives used in numerically controlled machine tools.

• Knowledge of CNC machining technology (ISO, G-Code, CAD/CAM).

• Understanding of CNC machine tool market space.

• Result oriented, customer focus and creative.

• Experience working in an international team.

• Readiness to travel (70-80%).

Portuguese language is a requirement due to local engagement.

English language is a requirement due to the international engagement.
