JOIN US! WE MAKE REAL WHAT MATTERS. THIS IS YOUR ROLE

Role Overview

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager, you play a key role in bringing new products from development into stable and scalable manufacturing. You work closely with Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain Management to ensure that products are introduced efficiently, with a strong focus on manufacturability, quality, and cost.
In this role, you lead and coordinate a team of approximately eight Production Experts, providing technical guidance, task prioritization, and day to day direction within the project context.
This position targets seasoned team leaders with a proven leadership track record of 3–5+ years, capable of guiding teams and driving outcomes in complex, cross functional environments. Building on this foundation, you will further expand your ownership from project delivery to cross project coordination, stronger governance contribution, and broader technical leadership, with a defined progression toward an NPI Lead position.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Product Introduction Execution

  • Manage and coordinate new product introduction activities from prototype builds through pilot production to serial manufacturing readiness
  • Ensure timely availability of materials, manufacturing technologies, test concepts, and production documentation
  • Support the transition from development into manufacturing in close collaboration with cross‑functional partners

2. Manufacturing Readiness & Optimization

  • Contribute to Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and Design for Automation (DFM/DFA) initiatives
  • Support Design‑to‑Cost activities to improve product competitiveness
  • Identify manufacturability risks early and work with stakeholders on mitigation action
3. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a key manufacturing interface to Research and Development, Quality, Supply Chain Management, and production teams
  • Coordinate cross‑functional tasks and drive alignment across functions and locations
  • Contribute to structured decision‑making based on data, risks, and priorities

4. Risk, Change, and Quality Support

  • Support structured risk management activities throughout the new product introduction lifecycle and change-related risks. Define mitigation strategies
  • Lead end-to-end Change Management for products transitioning from development into manufacturing, ensuring controlled, transparent, and timely implementation of engineering and process changes
  • Establish structured change impact assessments and coordinate decision-making with R&D, Quality, SCM, and Production to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
  • Help ensure stable manufacturing processes with clear quality, yield, and cost targets

5. Development & Growth Perspective

  • Gradually take on broader responsibility across multiple products or projects
  • Learn and apply standardized new product introduction processes, tools, and governance model.
  • Grow toward technical leadership and ownership within the global new product introduction community

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (for example Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar)

Experience

  • Approximately 9–10 years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering, new product introduction, or technical project management and Change Management
  • Experience working in cross‑functional and international project environments
  • Exposure to electronics or electromechanical manufacturing is an advantage
  • Initial hands‑on experience with enterprise systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (for example SAP) or Product Lifecycle Management systems
  • Interest in structured project methods and continuous improvement

Competencies

  • Strong analytical and structured working style
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into manufacturing requirements
  • Good communication skills and confidence in working with different stakeholders
  • Motivation to grow into broader responsibility and leadership roles

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to grow into a senior NPI leadership role
  • Hands‑on exposure to global manufacturing and development networks
  • Structured development through mentoring, learning on the job, and increasing responsibility
  • Meaningful impact on how new products are industrialized and scaled
