You’ll create impact by
- Market Intelligence & Early Warning:
- Building and maintaining advanced raw material market insights, including market economics and dynamics.
- Translating intelligence into sourcing levers, institutionalizing knowledge and drive reduction of supply-chain risks through n-tier transparency frameworks.
- Raw Material Strategy & Demand Steering:
- Developing and implementing global raw-material strategies; steering demand globally; diversifying sourcing approaches with a strong n-tier scope
- Promoting sustainability and resilience initiatives and delivering productivity programs with measurable outcomes.
- Stakeholder & Community Leadership:
- Embedding raw material strategies into Siemens’ business and SCM/P strategies while building networks across global stakeholders.
- Leading the Purchasing Council (PuC) community and ensure consistency across commodity and sourcing decisions.
- Commercial Strategy & Negotiations:
- Defining and executing global negotiation strategies, lead sizable contract negotiations ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Establishing scalable contracting principles applicable across business units and regions.
- Supplier & Risk Management:
- Managing global supplier ecosystems, defining strategies for 2nd-tier suppliers and building innovative risk management frameworks.
- Driving escalations and making strategic decisions across multiple regions.
- Knowledge Sharing & Capability Development:
- Promoting continuous knowledge sharing, advancing digital enablement and supporting novel data modeling initiatives
- Fostering a leadership culture rooted in accountability, curiosity and resilience.

- Education: A master’s degree in engineering, a MBA is beneficial.
- Experience & Skills:
- Extensive professional experience in procurement, commodity management or supply chain leadership, ideally within international industrial environments.
- Proven ability to combine strong commercial acumen with deep industry knowledge and to navigate volatile raw material markets.
- Demonstrated success in translating strategy into action and leading teams of 10+ employees to deliver results.
- Experience in building high-performing, diverse teams and hiring top talent.
- Ways of working:
- Bold and authentic leadership with strong communication skills, coordinating teams across complex matrix organizations.
- An ability to balance strategic thinking with precision and detail, turning complex challenges into pragmatic solutions.
- Languages: Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly valued
