We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 5 year’s experience in BMS (Building Management System) field. The candidate must have an associate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical. This job is based out in Chennai.

The role of Pre-Sales Engineer involves the following responsibilities:
Conducting both preliminary and detailed pre-sales engineering to qualify, identify, and quantify Building Automation Tender Documents.
Examining Tender Documents to identify HVAC equipment and Field devices.
Reviewing the sequence of operations and identifying any gaps in the specification related to the IO summary.
Generating RFI, Equipment Summary, Data points schedule, Bill of material. This includes sub-tasks like sizing/Selection of sensors, Motorized control valves & dampers Actuators, Meters, Controllers, Interfaces & License.
Developing robust and efficient BMS network architectures and detailed control system designs.
Producing a Compliance statement.
Collaborating closely with Bid Engineers to provide comprehensive technical designs and documentation, ensuring a solid foundation for accurate pricing and proposals.

The candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:
Strong knowledge of DDC (Direct Digital Control) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
Hands-on experience in designing BMS solutions / presales for data center projects.
Additional system knowledge like IT networking, Metering, Cyber Security & Associated building controls, Industry codes, and Compliance practices will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of open protocols like Modbus, M-Bus, BACnet, KNX, and associated protocols related to BMS system.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook), Bluebeam & Ground plan. Knowledge of Revit and BIM will be considered as added advantages.
Experience with EPLAN Electric P8 for schematic design, panel layout, and documentation generation is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) is a plus.
Excellent skills in reading, oral and writing communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
