We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join our team in Raleigh, NC.
As the financial leader for the plant, the Plant Controller is accountable for ensuring robust financial oversight, guiding business decisions, and enabling operational excellence. This role is highly operational and hands-on, focusing on day-to-day financial activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial role in providing clear financial insights to support proactive decision-making and optimize plant profitability.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyzing production performance, cost trends, variances, and productivity metrics to drive improvements.
- Overseeing product costing, inventory valuation, scrap analysis, and labor efficiency.
- Driving cost-down initiatives and managing the OnePumaWeb (OPW) cost savings tool.
- Supporting critical business decisions and analysis for capital investments and asset tracking.
- Partnering with operations, supply chain, and engineering to identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluating, enhancing, and leading system integrations (e.g., SAP, reporting tools) to improve data integrity.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with the following:
- Controlling, cost accounting, or finance roles in support of manufacturing.
- Proficiency with SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP or equivalent modules) and complex data flows.
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with both strategic and hands-on execution.
- Exceptional analytical skills in Excel and presentation skills in PowerPoint, with the ability to explain complex financial topics clearly.
- Improving financial processes through digital tools or automation.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience in an electronics or EV Charger manufacturing finance role.
- Ability to act as a self-starter, identify pain points, and take meaningful action in a growing business.
- Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience working in a lean finance team within a new factory setting.
- A desire for a role with significant exposure and the opportunity to make a direct impact.

The pay range for this position is 102,459 - 175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
