You’ll make a difference by:

  • You will ensure implementation of approved accounting policies and procedures for assigned organizational unit(s), that match respective legal requirements - (i.e. HGB, IFRS, GAAP).
  • You will collaborate closely with our partners and customers to clarify cases as a critical issue point and analyze and drive innovation and customer centricity throughout the organization.
  • You will be responsible of unit financials and reports to business management including results from various productivity measures and targets.
  • You will work closely in alignment with Corporate Governance teams and actively seek feedback and drive compliant processes.
  • You will ensure internal controls are in place, and accounting aligns with all external regulations. Collaborate with internal and external Auditors as needed.
  • You will manage large team of professionals and support staff in assigned organizational settings, understand and drive digitalization topics pertaining to accounting processes.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring adequate quality standards and Business Continuity plans as defined by the respective corporate teams in Siemens GBS and ensure we are always compliant and actively working on observations and recommendations.

Your success is grounded in:

  • You are a Postgraduate in Commerce and have working experience/ knowledge on leading end to end Accounting and finance or similar processes.
  • You bring consistent track record in Finance & Accounting with 15+ years experience of handling Accounts Receivables, Payables, Closing & Reporting and other General ledger functions.
  • Should have worked with Accounting and Finance teams & with business CFOs on accounting and finance topics including but not limited to accounting transactions, closing and reporting and other topics.
  • You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills and analytical skills
  • You are someone flexible to work on all shifts and Agile approach.
  • You have experience in handling diverse teams with a focus on cultural sensitivity and organizational change.
  • You should have consistent track record in preparing and implementing business strategies with measurable success rates (example- RPA, design thinking, other process re-engineering and digitalization initiatives).
