Position Overview
We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Machinist 2) to support our greenfield skid assembly workshop, SieSAW, in Knightdale, NC. This role reports to the Production Manager and provides hands-on technical support. The technician serves as the primary on floor technical expert in machining, metals work, fabrication, assembly processes, and other manufacturing activities as assigned.

Pay Rate: $30.17/hour
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment performing mechanical assembly, machine operation, or similar hands-on work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring devices
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and perform physical tasks including reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, and lifting to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continuous and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in a technical field, preferably an engineering discipline: Industrial, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Experience operating press brake machines, ERHT machines, or Komax wire processing equipment
- Experience with CNC equipment, SAP, AutoCAD, Vis table, and lean manufacturing environments
- Experience with wiring, cable assembly, electrical or mechanical assembly, and Microsoft suite
You’ll make an impact by
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment such as press brake machines, ERHT machines, and Komax wire processing machines to produce high quality parts and assemblies
- Reading and following BOMs, layouts, and technical drawings
- Reading and interpreting 2D and 3D blueprints, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
- Using hand tools, pneumatic and battery powered tools, torque wrenches, and measuring devices safely and accurately
- Inspecting finished products for quality, recording production data, and completing required documentation using computer systems
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts and performing additional duties as assigned by leadership

The pay range for this position is $30.17 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
