This is an exciting time to join the team as we embark on a number of new product developments and expland our R&D capabilities and work within a dynamic engineering change environment.

Join our engineering team to help shape the future of diagnostic healthcare. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for Atellica™ immunoassay analyzers, a cutting-edge platform used in clinical laboratories worldwide.

Strong coding and development skills are essential for this position, to contribute to the development and delivery of solutions, on complex projects, from concept to implementation.

This role reports to Software Engineering Manager.

Your Role

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable features and services using C# and .NET Framework.
  • Develop multi-threaded, service-based solutions with technologies such as .NET Remoting, WCF, and/or gRPC.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of new systems and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Define and implement testing strategies, including unit testing and peer code reviews, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, ideally within a regulated or high-compliance environment.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework, with a strong understanding of multi-threaded application development.
  • Experience with inter-process communication technologies such as .NET Remoting, WCF, or gRPC.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly SQL Server and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with machine learning inference frameworks (e.g., ONNX) is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills; you thrive in a team-oriented environment.
