Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will lead strategic projects and initiatives within cross-functional and international teams, including strategy definition, business transformation, and implementation projects.
- You will ensure that strategic goals are achieved by continuously identifying risks and opportunities, assessing progress, and deriving well-founded recommendations for action.
- You will develop and evaluate innovative business concepts and business models.
- You will provide recommendations for further strategic development and present them to senior management.
- You will drive strategic planning, assess strategic options, and support both internal and external strategic communication.
- You will analyze markets, competitors and trends to derive actionable insights.
- You will manage the Diagnostic Imaging Portfolio Board and collaborate closely with the Heads of Portfolio & Product and Research & Development to identify and advance cross–Business Line portfolio initiatives aligned with the overall Diagnostic Imaging strategy
- You will drive the further development and implementation of cross–Business Line portfolio management processes for key clinical topics.
- You will prepare and deliver executive presentations to senior management, translating complex analyses into clear strategic recommendations and decision proposals.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a Master’s degree or similar in healthcare, technology, engineering, computer science, or business management – a combination of these fields is considered a strong advantage.
- You have many years of professional experience in business development, corporate strategy, or management consulting, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- You have a proven track record of managing strategic, cross-functional, and international projects in complex organizations.
- You have demonstrated experience in leading large-scale transformation programs and effectively managing diverse, cross-regional teams.
- Ideally, you have hands-on experience in Healthcare IT and portfolio or product management within the medical device industry.
Your attributes and skills:
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functions, cultures, and leadership levels in an international environment. You can translate complex strategic topics into clear and actionable insights for senior management.
- You are a strong and confident communicator, capable of conveying complex ideas convincingly both verbally and in writing. Fluency in English is required; German skills are an advantage.
- You demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and a high degree of self-motivation, ownership, and accountability for the topics you drive.
- You are solution-oriented and take a hands-on, pragmatic approach to identifying opportunities and tackling challenges.
- You possess strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, enabling you to connect the big picture with operational detail.
- You embrace lean and agile thinking and continuously strive to improve processes and collaboration together with the involved teams.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset, asking “why not?” instead of “why,” and you take initiative to start and test ideas quickly — adjusting or ending them early when appropriate.
- You are collaborative and empathetic, with strong interpersonal skills that help you work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
