Job Title: IT Software Developer

1. IT in Manufacturing: Development & Support

Software Solution Development & Digitalization:

- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end web-based solutions for various localization projects (e.g., Circuit Breaker Assembly: Product traceability, Production Status Monitoring, Production order allocation) for the SI EP IAA MF&Q KW SPM Factory (in-house or supplier locations).

- Lead the phased migration of existing desktop-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications to modern web-based platforms, ensuring adherence to Siemens' guidelines.

- Create dynamic dashboards and reports using web-based platforms to provide enhanced visibility of production status for departments like Production, Quality, and Plant Management, as well as external suppliers.

- Plan and execute IT-based manufacturing processes, such as SQL-based Label Printing and Laser Marking.

- Generate comprehensive documentation for all delivered software solutions, including source code and Database Management details.

IT Technical Support & Maintenance:

- Provide essential on-site or remote IT technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT-enabled manufacturing stations.

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to software, networking, hardware, and IT peripherals (e.g., printers).

- Effectively escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Local-IT, Central-IT, or Global-IT Teams for specialized support.

- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, including regular upgrades and patching of servers, PCs, and IP-enabled devices.

Compliance & Cybersecurity:

- Ensure strict adherence to Siemens’ Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Information Security policies.

- Actively support local and global Cybersecurity audits for the SI EP IAA MF&Q KW Factory, including the resolution of any identified deviations.


Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in information technology/ Computer science/ Information Science with proven experience of 3+ years as full stack developer in real-time development projects.

Mandatory/Primary Technical Skills:

- Front-end: Angular, ASP.NET, ASP.NET CORE, ReactJS

- Backend: C, C#, Python, NodeJS

- Database Management: SQL Server, MongoDB

- Basic understanding of Product Traceability & Production scheduling.


Desired / Secondary Technical Skills

- Experience with Industrial Protocols such as RS232 serial communication and Ethernet communication.

- Data Analytics, Power BI, Machine Learning, Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Vision

- Experience in ‘Make-to-order’ & ‘Make-to-stock’ Manufacturing environments

- Knowledge of working with Raspberry Pi and data formats like XML and JSON.
