You‘ll make an impact by:
- As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be the trusted expert on-site, delivering commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance for a range of Siemens Digital Industries solutions. Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens automation and drive systems — both on-site and remotely.
- Configure, integrate, and test automation and SCADA platforms such as SIMATIC PCS 7, WinCC, including communication protocols like PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and Modbus.
- Work with Siemens process instrumentation (SITRANS, SIPART) for measurement and control applications.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop tailored automation and digitalization solutions. Support project planning, cost estimates, and execution activities.
- Deliver technical support and hands-on training to customers on Siemens automation, drives, and process technologies.
- Your work will help customers achieve optimal performance through reliable automation, efficient drive systems, and seamless process integration.
- You’ll work across a diverse set of projects and industries, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to provide both immediate technical support and long-term system improvements.
Your success is grounded in
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- 5–10 years of proven field service experience with Siemens automation and control systems.
- Experience with SIMATIC PCS 7, WinCC, SINAMICS drives, and motion control systems preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a customer-first mindset
- Willingness to travel locally, interstate, and occasionally internationally.
