Sr. Director, Global Digital Marketplace Strategy

As a critical leader within Siemens Digital Industries Software, the Sr. Director, Global Digital GTM and Programs will drive transformative growth and innovation across the software ecosystem, crafting and executing the digital go-to-market strategy with precision and impact. This position demands a seasoned leader with profound expertise in SaaS ARR generation, digital sales channels, and cloud marketplace management. You'll orchestrate a global team of inside sales professionals, program specialists, and marketplace managers, ensuring alignment with Siemens’ strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- GTM Strategy & Program Management:
- Architect and implement innovative digital GTM strategies that propel SaaS ARR growth and amplify market expansion across diverse sectors.
- Continuously refine strategic programs to exploit emerging market trends and leverage technological advancements.
- Integrate digital GTM strategies and programs within direct and partner GTM motions across LAER with a customer omnichannel focus
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Command a high-performing global team, comprising inside sales representatives, program specialists, and marketplace managers, guiding them toward achieving ambitious growth targets.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning, fostering talent development and empowering leadership within the team.
- Marketplace Management:
- Spearhead the strategic oversight of Siemens software marketplace (Xcelerator Marketplace) and external cloud marketplaces (AWS, Microsoft), optimizing sales channels and expanding market penetration.
- Liaise with Siemens corporate Xcelerator Marketplace and Partner GTM teams to ensure alignment with DI SW requirements, BUILD partners, and 3rd party sellers.
- Collaborate intensively with the Digital GTM Operations team to provide business requirements and ensure seamless integration with technical capabilities and infrastructure.
- Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Forge deep, strategic relationships with key partners, driving successful co-innovation and joint market initiatives that amplify Siemens’ market leadership.
- Act as the principal liaison for marketplace partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration toward shared business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Drive comprehensive marketplace strategies, programs, and functionalities that maximize SaaS ARR growth and GCSC profitability across the LAER framework.
- Implement robust, data-driven KPIs to enhance strategy effectiveness, optimize forecasting accuracy, and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Identify and exploit opportunities for operational excellence and process optimization across sales channels and marketplaces.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; Master's/MBA strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable track record of leadership in senior digital sales or marketplace management roles, with substantial success in SaaS ARR generation and GTM strategy execution (Strongly prefer experience in developing and implementing digital marketplace strategies).
- Extensive experience managing and developing global teams within complex, matrixed organizations (At least 5+yrs required).
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms, business models, particularly AWS and Microsoft marketplaces, and the competitive landscape.
- Exemplary leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage, influence, and drive initiatives across all organizational levels.
- Insightful and data-driven decision-making capabilities, with a relentless focus on operational excellence and strategic impact.
- Strongly prefer candidates currently located in the United States, however may be open to candidates located elsewhere

The pay range for this position is 203,800 - 366,900 annually with a target incentive of 25 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
