As a Senior Tax Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in leading and optimizing processes related to international business travel, shadow payroll, tax payments, and compliance across the Americas region.

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive process improvements, regional alignment, and stakeholder collaboration in a global environment. You’ll act as a strategic partner, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery while mentoring team members and supporting automation initiatives.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead shadow payroll operations and ensure compliance across multiple countries in the Americas.

  • Oversee compensation data collection and delivery to external tax vendors.

  • Manage tax payment tracking, reconciliation, and audit documentation.

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and contribute to the development of the regional service catalog.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Utilize tools like Power BI and ServiceNow to manage, track, and report tax data.

  • Collaborate with internal partners (Global Mobility, Payroll, HR, Accounting, Corporate Tax) and external vendors (tax firms, payroll providers, relocation vendors) to resolve complex issues.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in tax operations, payroll, or global mobility.

  • Strong expertise in international tax, shadow payroll, and foreign tax credit concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).

  • Experience with U.S., Canadian, or Latin American payroll systems.

  • Advanced English and Spanish required; Portuguese or French is a plus.

  • Experience working with or for global mobility vendors is preferred.
