We are looking for a Final Assembly Production Supervisor based in our Hingham, MA location.

Position Overview

The Production Supervisor will lead the Final Assembly team reporting directly to the Focus Factory Manager. Ensuring the smooth operation of the assembly process for all ATS products is a key responsibility of the Production Supervisor. This role requires leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, organization, planning, and motivational skills. Engage with the Focus Factory Manager and other departments to meet business operation deadlines and customer commitments, striving to achieve delivery reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety is priority for team members on the production floor.
  • Lead initiatives to minimize production errors, improve product quality, and boost efficiency.
  • Adhere to production schedule to meet deadlines and on time delivery.
  • Attend all production meetings, work with the production scheduler, and follow production schedule in correlation to ship date deadlines. Provide updates on daily performance metrics during CC/PCC meetings.
  • Demonstrate good communication, track critical data, lead daily Gemba walks, implement 5S methodology, apply lean principles.
  • Work closely with purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.
  • Support performance measurement and documentation of ATS testing process.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects on shopfloor.
  • Plan, develop, and lead all aspects of on-the-job training for all team members.
  • Manage employee performance
  • Manage all time and attendance tracking and reporting.
  • Define clear targets, objectives, and goals within the team daily. Clarify roles and responsibilities with each team member. Encourage collaboration cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and concentrate on attaining goals among colleagues and across peer groups.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years professional experience in a manufacturing and 2+ years in people management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/engineering/manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering wiring/mechanical schematics
  • Effective written/verbal communication.
  • Use of MS Office programs including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5S/Lean Manufacturing
  • SAP Experience
  • Forklift certified (or willing to get certification)

The pay range for this position is $80k - $100 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
