As a Technical Support Engineer EV Charging you will provide advanced remote technical support, integration, and escalation management for EV charging systems, contributing to product enhancement and frontline support training.


Your mission will be… 
  • You will provide remote advanced technical support and conduct root cause analysis for EV charging systems, ensuring high-quality assistance and customer satisfaction 
  • Following up, you will support integration efforts between EV chargers, vehicles, and backend systems to enhance system compatibility and functionality 
  • Additionally, you will manage and resolve technical escalations efficiently, maintaining a clear documentation of support cases, resolutions, and technical learnings 
  • Collaboratively working with Product Champions and R&D teams, you will address recurring product issues and contribute to product enhancements to continuously improve product reliability 
  • Finally, you will provide feedback and training to frontline support teams to improve first-contact resolution rates and ensure adherence to operational key performance indicators (KPIs) 

We are looking for someone with… 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree  with a first professional experience in Electrical Engineering. Alternatively, a completed vocational training with further education as a certified technician and extensive professional experience is acceptable
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Strong background in electronics, IT, energy systems, or communication technologies 
    • Between 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support roles, preferably customer-facing in a call center within the eMobility industry 
    • Familiar with EV charging standards and protocols such as Type 2, CCS, OCPP 
  • Ways of working: Demonstrates analytical problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Languages: Proficiency in English required
