What will you do?
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating logistics activities across transportation, short-term warehousing, with a strong connection to factory operations in US. Mexico and Germany. The role combines hands-on operational management with responsibility for driving process improvements and standardization in line with company policies and regional logistics strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor, and optimize inbound/outbound transportation activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and cost efficiency.
- Manage short-term warehousing needs, including inventory flow, space utilization, and coordination with 3PL providers.
- Act as the primary logistics point of contact for the factory, ensuring alignment between production schedules and logistics operations.
- Monitor daily logistics activities, resolve issues, and ensure KPI achievement (cost, service, quality).
- Identify, recommend, and implement logistics process improvements and digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements in all logistics operations.
- Work closely with Siemens SI Logistics, Procurement, and external logistics partners to ensure effective end-to-end logistics execution.
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with exposure to transportation, warehousing, and order management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to serve as a trusted liaison between factory operations and regional logistics leadership.
- Familiarity with ERP and TMS/WMS systems; experience with digital logistics tools is an asset.
- Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
- 10% Travel may be required

Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 65,000 CAD - $ 75,000 CAD.
