Then come in and join us as the Hardware Installation Engineer to execute installation activities and be responsible for the on-site installation, configuration, and testing of Varian Oncology Hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with technical and safety standards.

 
Your Role:
  • You will install / upgrade the Oncology Hardware Solutions according to our customers including validating the solution is ready for use for our customers to treat patients.
  • You will be installing onsite for 3-5 weeks for the Linear Accelerators according to technical documentation & guidelines provided to ensure the machine is installed properly.
  • You will provide highly visible performance for on-site installation as well as diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of high-tech complex systems.
  • You will connect the Radiation Treatment devices to the Oncology Software Solutions.
  • You will perform and document the work completed according to Quality Management Systems.
  • You will ensure we always meet the agreed target dates for customers to treat patients regarding installation and upgrading work.
  • You will independently trouble shoot one-off technical problems with minimal assistance.
  • You will escalate discrepancy in trouble shooting process and/or procedures.
  • You will suggest or provide direct input to specialists for process/ product improvement.
  • You will learn to use professional concepts and apply the company policies & procedures to resolve issues.
  • You will check out and approve the operational quality of systems & machines after installation.
  • You will conduct acceptance testing to ensure that all product specifications are met with the highest quality and in timely manner.
  • You are willing to travel up to 80% of the time across countries within Southeast Asia and South Korea if necessary.


Your Expertise:

  • You have more than 2 years of experience in complex electro-mechanical, Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics engineering diagnostic instruments needed.
  • You have the ability to work individually and in a team setting.
  • You are proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint).
  • You are willing to work with physical requirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
  • You are highly organized and able to plan.
  • You have a valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
  • You are fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
