Apply now for the position of Closing and Reporting Leader and you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial closings and reporting processes across Siemens Healthineers Egypt entities. You will play a key role in managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving process standardization and digitalization within the finance function.

Your role:

    • Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting activities in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
    • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements and management reports.
    • Act as a key liaison between local accounting teams and regional accounting hub to ensure smooth closing operations.
    • Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide insights to management.
    • Manage audit processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
    • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization in financial closing and reporting.
    • Support the implementation of digital finance tools (e.g., SAP P58, Esprit reporting, or similar systems).
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and contribute to continuous enhancement of financial governance.
    • Mentor and develop team members to build strong financial expertise and collaborative working culture.
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and similar analytics tools to improve visibility and decision support.
    • Provide accounting and reporting guidance on new or non-standard business transactions in line with IFRS and Siemens FRG requirements.
    • Collaborate with Controlling, Business, and HQ Finance teams to ensure appropriate financial treatment of transactions and projects.
    • Conduct and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring account accuracy, proper documentation, and resolution of open items.

    Your expertise:
      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
      • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
      • 8+ years of relevant experience in financial closing, reporting, and accounting, ideally within a multinational environment.
      • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and practical experience applying Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG) or similar corporate accounting frameworks.
      • Proven ability to review and interpret balance sheet accounts and advise on complex accounting matters.
      • Hands-on experience with SAP and consolidation/reporting tools.
      • Proficiency in Power BI or comparable analytics tools for reporting and visualization.
      • Experience managing or leading teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
      • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
      • Passion for digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
      • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
