Job Title: Data Scientist [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]

Job Location: Plano, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the US

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $105,100.00 - $189,200.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Build production grade models on large-scale datasets to optimize marketing performance by utilizing advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques and marketing science research. Work with data engineering team to create data pipelines. Work with operations team to create data integration pipelines between marketing systems on our data lake strategy. Assist and collaborate with other data analysts and scientists to generate value from data. Build backend data services for internal applications teams to consume. Build tools and frameworks to facilitate efficient and reliable data processing. Enable data science models including model building, scripting, data preparation and model management. Create engineered feature sets for training ML models. Build classification, regression, and clustering models using Python ML libraries and Automated ML software tools. Identify and define new AI and ML approaches to driving better business performance.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related occupation.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field and no experience.

Position requires coursework, internship, or experience involving the following:

1. Python, R, Java, or Scala for data processing

2. Database and query optimization and analytical databases, such as Snowflake or Redshift

3. Relational SQL and NoSQL databases

4. BI visualization software including Tableau or Qlik

5. Version control tools and platforms including Github and GitLab

6. Data pipelining and workflow management tools including Airflow, AWS, and Data Pipelines

8. Dimensional data-lake architecture and data serialization formats including JSON, Avro, and Parquet.

5% Domestic travel required. Telecommuting and/or working from home permitted pursuant to company policy. [Remote role]
