As we continue to grow, we’re seeking exceptional talent to drive our next chapter of success. We’re looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to own and grow our Medium Voltage portfolio across Victoria and Tasmania, focusing on the Utility sector. You’ll champion Siemens’ cutting-edge medium voltage solutions - GIS & AIS, RMUs (up to 33kV), protection relays, and packaged systems - while building strong customer relationships and making a real impact on Australia’s energy landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive revenue growth through a smart mix of hunting and farming
  • Lead face-to-face meetings, presentations, and technical discussions (3 days/week in the field)
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline, maximising conversion opportunities
  • Understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors to spot new opportunities
  • Engage with consultants, contractors, and key utility customers
  • Deliver technical support, solution-selling, and compelling product presentations
  • Develop 3 - 5 year strategic plans for your region
  • Lead contract negotiations and act as the go-to for customer escalations
  • Provide market insights and regular reporting to senior leadership

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in medium voltage or industrial electrical sales
  • Deep understanding of contracting and tendering processes
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in VIC & TAS utilities or renewables is a plus
  • Technical aptitude with knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and protection devices
  • Willingness to travel across VIC, TAS, and occasionally interstate
