As Head of FVM for manufacturing Karlsruhe, you are driving financial transparency, governance, and strategic impact. You lead a high-performing, international team, champion digitalization, and translate business strategy into financial results.

Your leadership empowers the management and cross-functional peers to make informed decisions that shape the future of Manufacturing Karlsruhe in the Global Factory Network.

You will be role-modelling our GFN values and Leadership Essentials and have a strong background in finance, with excellent leadership and strategic planning skills, in short: You are a Senior Business Controlling Leader by Heart.

You’ll create impact by

  • Financial Leadership: Own all aspects of financial management reporting, performance analysis, and operational controlling. 
  • Strategic Partner: Deliver high-quality financial data and insights to support strategic and tactical decision-making. 
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Design and lead robust forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment across the organization. 
  • Digital Transformation: Set and execute the digital roadmap, leveraging data analytics and digital tools to enhance reporting and business insights. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary interface for financial information across markets, strategic initiatives, and reporting requirements. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of best-in-class financial practices, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse finance team, promoting collaboration, talent development, and professional growth. 
  • Sparring Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to the Manufacturing Leadership team 

You excel in

  • Education
    • Advanced degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. 
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior financial roles, with a strong background in business controlling and financial management. Operational experience (sales, project execution) is a plus. 
  • Experience & Skills
    • Deep expertise in financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and reporting. 
    • Proven track record in leading financial planning and reporting processes in complex, global environments. 
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to engage at all organizational levels. 
    • Experience managing multicultural, cross-regional teams and navigating diverse business models. 
    • Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking abilities; results-oriented with a “big-picture” mindset. 
    • Proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel, and digital analytics tools. 
  • Ways of working
    • Demonstrazed ability to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
    • High integrity, courage to challenge the status quo, and proactive, dynamic approach. 
  • Languages
    • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are an asset.
