We are looking for Software Test Manager

You’ll make a difference by

He/she manages validation and verification of all TCMS subsystems and components in line with make or buy strategy on the project.

• : 100% compliant with EHS rules (regarding activities performed on train and test bench).
• Management of TCMS validation and verification tools configuration.
• Delivery of TCMS test procedures & reports.
• Configuration Management of Verification & Test deliverables.
• Management of validation status of change requests (CR).
• Management of CR: all NOK results in test reports related to a CR.
• Lead and manage internal and external test engineers in railway control software.
• Develop test strategies with focus on efficient software verification and validation.
• Close collaboration with the software development engineers as well as with the software assessors.
• Ensure project plans and deliverables are accurate, complete, and achievable. Establish operational objectives and work plans and delegate the assignments.
• Monitor and manage capacity, skills, experience and work to ensure timely delivery and continuously improve the test quality.
• Ensure test documentation and deliverables are reviewed and aligned with industry standards and regulations, while reflecting Siemens Mobility's commitment to quality and safety.
• Together with the team plan and implement test automation.
• Seek out and deploy new tools and automation opportunities.
• Delivery of requirements testing coverage and results in a weekly report.
• Delivery of weekly synthesis on Verification & Test activities.
• Specification of tools needed to manage Verification & test activities.
• Management of TCMS Verification & Test work package.

Desired Skills:

• Successfully completed a technical degree in computer science, electrical engineering, railway engineering or a related subject.
• Several years of experience with test management, knowledge in agile software development is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalence class tests…).
• Practical knowledge of validation tools (model-based testing tools…).
• Practical knowledge of validation means (testbeds, simulators…).
• Hands-on testing experience in a vehicle or under lab conditions.
• Practical experience on software integration & validation phases as per EN 50657 (minimum of 8 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defense, Aeronautical, Automative domains).
• Managing work packages for subcontractors.
• Design for Quality (DFQ) cycle.
• Knowledge of safety critical software development and testing would be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on building relationships, providing constructive feedback, and fostering collaboration.
• Fluent in English
