We are looking for: Senior Software Engineer,

You’ll make an impact by:

·       Feature Ownership (Complex): Taking ownership of significant and complex features or modules from detailed design to deployment. This includes leading the development, ensuring robust testing, and supporting deployment.

·       Core Component Development: Developing critical and foundational components of the application, especially those interacting directly with Sentron devices or handling sensitive configuration logic, ensuring they align with architectural specifications.

·       Performance Optimization: Proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks within the application, implementing optimizations to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience for commissioning engineers.

·       Security Implementation: Implementing security measures and standard processes within their developed components, ensuring compliance with Siemens' security standards.

·       DevExpress Expertise: Subject matter expert for DevExpress components within the team, guiding on efficient and effective UI/UX implementation and customization based on design specifications.

·       Liaison with Architects: Acting as a key technical liaison between the development team and the Team/Product Architects, providing feedback on architectural decisions, and ensuring clear communication of technical challenges and solutions.

·       Partner Communication: Collaborating with product owners, UI/UX designers, and commissioning engineers to refine requirements, provide technical feasibility assessments, and present implementation details.

·       Team Coordination: Helping to break down large tasks into manageable units, estimate effort, and ensure alignment and efficient workflow within the development team.

·       Technical Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed user documentation for developed features, modules, and complex solutions, contributing to the overall knowledge base.

·       Code Review & Mentorship: Conducting thorough code reviews for Junior Developers, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices. Actively mentoring Junior Developers to foster their technical growth.

·       Complex Problem Solving: Leading the investigation and resolution of complex technical problems, performance issues, and critical bugs, often requiring deep understanding of the Project codebase and its interactions.

·       BE / B Tech in Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics & Comm, Instrumentation

·       Software Development Experience of 4-7 years

·       Responsible for the design and development software solutions from concept, design to implementation.

·       In-depth knowledge of C# .Net, Winforms.

·       Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object oriented programming and design skills.

·       Shall have strong understanding of the software development processes, essentially in build, deployment, testing and development best practices.

·       Exposure to Git, Working experience of Static Code Analysis tools like SonarQube.

·       Good understanding of Agile/Lean, exposure to DevExpress is an added advantage.

·       Energy and Power Domain knowhow.

·       Attention to detail and good analytical abilities, good planning and organizational skills.

·       Collaborative approach to sharing ideas and finding solutions.

·       Ability to work independently and also in a global team environment.
