Responsibilities

1. Support / participate in supplier quality audits and related assessments.
2. Ensure suppliers adhere to Siemens standards and contractual requirements.
3. Help investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplier supplied wirings/ assemblies.
4. Maintain records of supplier performance, and corrective actions.
5. Support initiatives to improve supplier processes and reduce defects as part of continuous improvements.
6. Work on improving various supplier related KPIs.
7. Bring transparency in supplier supplies in terms of shortages and clear alignment with procurement teams.
8. Corrective Action Closure Time – Improve average time taken to resolve supplier-related issues.
9. Conduct inspections and report non-conformances at supplier end.
10. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for supplier issues.
11. Implement changes in quality requirements and specifications to suppliers.
12. Support cross-functional teams (procurement, production, engineering) in supplier-related quality matters.
13. Checking supplier costings in line with loaded drawings and giving quantity confirmations to SPR team.

Skillsets / Knowledge / Experience :

1. Core knowledge of basic subjects of Electrical / Electronics Engineering and analytical skills.
2. Typically, up to 1 - 3  years of experience in a directly related field and successfully demonstrating Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented in the job profile.
3. Basic/Advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point etc.
4. Candidate shall be a good team player, flexible in approach and flexible in making frequent supplier visits, agile, resilient, and sincere.
5. Candidate must have professional written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills in English, Hindi, Konkani.
