We are looking for a highly motivated Service Sales Specialist (SSS) to drive growth of Siemens Automation service portfolio, including lifecycle services, retrofits, migration projects, spare parts, extended warranties, service contracts, and digitalization services. This role is primarily focused on supporting Siemens Account Managers as the Service Portfolio Expert, driving growth of Automation service offerings across strategic industries. The successful candidate will develop tailored Automation service strategies, engage with key accounts, and ensure Siemens remains the trusted partner for lifecycle services.

What will you do?

  • Account Manager Support:
    • Act as the service portfolio subject matter expert for Siemens Account Managers.
    • Provide technical and commercial support during customer meetings, proposals, and negotiations.
    • Assist in creating bundled solutions combining products and services for maximum customer value.
  • Service Portfolio Promotion:
    • Drive sales of Automation service offerings including preventive maintenance, spare parts, retrofit projects, migrations, SITRAIN training, digital services, extended exchange programs, service contracts, technical support programs etc.
    • Target key accounts in strategic sectors: Oil & Gas, Mining, Metals, Automotive, Defense, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, and other industrial segments.
    • Conduct lifecycle assessments and service audits to identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
    • Stimulate Factory Automation Service Sales growth by promoting Siemens Customer Service portfolio (retrofit projects, spare parts, extended warranty, service contracts) through building relationships with End Customers, Distributors, Solution Partners, and strengthening ties with existing customers.
    • Generate new service business for automation systems and motion control by developing strategies to secure target clients while leveraging all available sales resources for optimal results.
    • Understand customer requirements for automation system upgrades, migrations, drives retrofit, and propose solutions that deliver measurable benefits in efficiency, productivity, and reliability for I-Base customers.
    • Support the quotation team by clarifying scope and additional requirements for proposals/quotations related to Engineered Drives system replacement, automation upgrades, retrofits, and service contracts.
    • Promote value-added services for Factory Automation and Motion Control, acting as a technical advisor to help customers optimize operations and reduce downtime.
    • Drive adoption of Digitalization portfolio (remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and Industry 4.0 solutions) to enhance customer productivity and competitiveness.
    • Identify, qualify, and maintain a strong pipeline of service opportunities to achieve business objectives and revenue targets for Factory Automation and Motion Control services.
    • Assess large end-user needs and conduct productive consultations to uncover service opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within key accounts.
    • Deliver presentations and workshops showcasing Siemens service capabilities and value propositions.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams (technical support, project management, spare parts, service execution) to ensure seamless delivery.
    • Collaborate with product sales teams to create cross-selling opportunities and integrated solutions.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to adapt strategies.
    • Provide feedback to management on service portfolio enhancements and pricing strategies.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years in industrial automation or motion control sales, preferably in services.
    • Strong understanding of Siemens FA and MC products and lifecycle services.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to manage time and resources effectively independently and work within a team environment.
    • Up 20% Travel within Canada and 50% travel within Ontario primarily in the GTA region

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and total compensation ranges between $115,000 CAD - $ 150, 000 CAD including participation in our Sales Incentive Plan, contingent on achievement of sales targets as defined and updated from time to time by the Company.]
