Today, we are recruiting for a Site Team Assistant to join our Rolling Stock team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Execute all administrative and operational support activities efficiently and independently.
- Coordinate and support onboarding and integration of new and foreign employees, including housing, administration, translation, mobility within Egypt, medical matters, and social integration.
- Maintain and update platform and site personnel lists, ensuring accurate data transfer to shift planning and alignment with the Rolling Stock team.
- Prepare regular workforce reports and provide managers with insights on staffing levels, capacity utilization, productivity, and workload trends to support short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
- Monitor administrative processes and deadlines across the platform to ensure timely execution and compliance.
- Plan, organize, and manage the arrival and departure of internal and external staff.
- Record, control, and transfer working time and productization data accurately for internal and external employees.
- Allocate employee expenses to the appropriate networks in line with approved budgets and initiate corrective actions for deviations.
- Identify, track, and document additional workloads and related activities.
- Report regularly to site and platform management on operational and administrative matters.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing administrative support in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of administrative processes, basic technical concepts, and commercial principles.
- Proven planning, analytical, and methodical skills with a detail-oriented, process-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently with high reliability, flexibility, and assertiveness under pressure and competing priorities.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills with intercultural awareness and openness to diverse cultures.
- Proficiency in IT tools, including MS Office, SAP, and web-based applications.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written); German language skills are an advantage.
