What do you contribute?
As an IT Business Partner (f/m/d) in the Rolling Stock business unit, you will actively drive the digital transformation in one of the most significant divisions at Siemens Mobility. The majority of the Rolling Stock business unit is based in Munich. Therefore, we prefer to hire someone in Munich. If you are located at another site, it will be expected that you travel regularly to Munich to be as close as possible to the business unit.
- You translate business requirements into forward-looking IT solutions and develop IT business cases and long-term strategies that secure business success.
- You manage and coordinate IT projects that align with strategic business objectives, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Acting as a trusted partner, you advise senior executives on digital trends and IT-related challenges. You excel in stakeholder management, fostering seamless collaboration across all levels.
- You manage IT budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive innovation, such as the introduction of artificial intelligence, while ensuring compliance with governance guidelines.
- Simultaneously, you oversee existing IT services and continuously improve them by leveraging feedback and best practices.
- You enjoy working with international, cross-functional teams and use your ideas and dedication to significantly contribute to project success.
What do you bring along?
- Your foundation is a Master’s degree in IT, engineering, or a comparable field, along with several years of relevant work experience, preferably in corporate IT or IT strategy consulting.
- You have successfully worked on IT strategy projects or developed IT business cases for companies, demonstrating your ability to position IT as a driver of business value.
- With your experience in managing IT projects and handling complex business requirements, you can translate these into actionable solutions.
- You are proficient in data analysis and management tools (such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake), CRM systems (Dynamics 365, ServiceNow), and ERP systems (SAP).
- Ideally, you bring a background in consulting, complemented by skills in agile methodologies like Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- You are not only an excellent communicator in German and English but also work independently, thrive in international teams, and contribute your expertise actively to driving innovation and project success.
