Customer Experience & Support Internship
- Taking an AI-first approach to find and solve problems, enhance customer experience, and improve support processes.
- Supporting adoption and continuous improvement of a customer-facing order management portal by analyzing usage data and customer feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assisting with customer journey mapping to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and communication breakdowns across customer touchpoints.
- Developing reports and documentation that summarize customer insights, portal usage trends, and recommended enhancements for internal stakeholders.
- Supporting the review, optimization, and creation of customer-facing technical documentation to improve clarity, usability, and consistency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support customer experience initiatives, process improvements, and proactive support solutions.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard productivity tools.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship.
- Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Curious about AI and eager to learn and experiment with AI-powered solutions.
- Interest in customer experience, customer support, or customer journey optimization.
- Familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Exposure to CRM or customer experience platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience with process mapping or workflow documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn customer-facing systems and documentation practices.
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour for first time Interns or $25.50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
