What will you do?

• Lead and contribute to the design of CBTC system, including concept development, detailed design, integration, and validation.
• independently develop technical concepts, define interfaces, and generate comprehensive solutions during the project execution phases.
• analyze tender, understand customer requirements, and independently derive innovative solution concepts for profitable project execution.
• responsible to define, create, lead, and deliver the solution to the customer.
• responsible to evaluate the customer requirements and prepare System Requirements Specification (SRS)
• lead a multidisciplinary team of train control engineers, software developers, and other technical specialists.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the system engineering team.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress updates, technical reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Implement effective cost-control measures and report on project KPI’s.

What will you need to succeed?

• minimum experience of 10 years as engineering manager in rail infrastructure along with a graduate or postgraduate degree in engineering.
• minimum experience of 5 years on brownfield projects and10 years on CBTC projects.
• shall be a licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO)
• French language is an asset

Annual Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 CAD
