Executive AI/ML Engineer

Location: - Kalwa, Navi Mumbai

We are seeking a skilled and innovative AI/ML Engineer to join our Cranes team to develop intelligent software solutions for crane applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and real-time systems.

Job Description:
  • Design and develop AI/ML models for crane operation optimization, predictive maintenance, and safety enhancements.
  • Integrate computer vision systems for object detection, load monitoring, path optimization, anti-collision, and safety monitoring.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and mechanical engineering teams to implement intelligent control systems. 
  • Analyze sensor data (e.g., LIDAR, cameras, IMUs) to improve crane performance and reliability.
  • Build and integrate digital twin models of cranes for simulation, testing, and performance prediction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial protocols.
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and reliability in operational port environments.
  • Research and evaluate new AI/ML tools, frameworks, and methods relevant to industrial automation.
  • Document processes, write technical reports, and support knowledge transfer within the team
Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical/Electronics, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably in industrial or embedded systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and data science methods.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, OpenCV).
  • Experience with time-series data analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
  • Hands-on experience in computer vision (object detection, tracking, image recognition).
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, Profinet) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with edge computing and real-time AI deployment. 
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
