The Opportunity

We're investing in product marketing to accelerate our momentum and extend our market leadership in the industrial space. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and results-oriented Product Marketing Manager who can help us bridge the worlds of Operational and Information Technology for a global audience.
 
The Team

The team’s mission is to deliver market insights, clear positioning, and differentiated messaging for our platform. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role partnering closely with Product, R&D, Sales, Campaigns, Partnerships, and many others.
 

Key Responsibilities
      • Deliver messaging and positioning that articulates differentiated value to industrial audiences with a particular focus on Teamcenter customers globally.
      • Develop and collaborate on go-to-market strategies to engage IT leaders in industrial enterprises.
      • Collaborate with Product Management to develop value propositions that clearly differentiate us in the market.
      • Enable sales teams to articulate the value of our products.
      • Collaborate with Campaign teams to ensure clear alignment between campaign messaging, underlying tactics, and field execution.
      • Continuously analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitors, and communicate timely, actionable insights.

About you (requirements & preferred experience)

      • Required:
      • 5+ years of Product Marketing, Product Management, or Presales experience.
      • Excellent communications skills with an ability to translate technical features into benefits and value for different buyer personas in enterprises.
      • Demonstratable ability to drive cross-functional results across product, sales, demand generation, and channel partners.
      • Willingness to travel at least once a quarter.
      • Preferred:
      • Experience in platform go-to-market
      • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter or comparable PLM solutions.
      • Experience with Challenger Sales methodology

The role includes occasional international travel (minimum once per quarter).
Flexible remote working arrangements can be supported.

You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by:

    • Advising C-level executives on how to apply the Mendix Platform to their business and technology environment.
    • Building and delivering high-impact presentations and demonstrations online and onsite.
    • Leading technical deep-dives and architecture sessions with prospects, customers and partners.
    • Managing Proofs-of-Concept from setup to evaluation,  including building applications. 
    • Facilitating workshops to assess customers’ application portfolios and identifying high-value use cases for the Mendix Platform.
    • Translating complex technical requirements into Mendix platform capabilities. 
    • Guiding customers through architectural design, integration, and scalability considerations. 
    • Staying current on Mendix capabilities, roadmap, and ecosystem integrations (AI, cloud, DevOps, etc.). 
    • Contributing to RFP/RFI responses and solution proposals. 
    • Acting as a trusted advisor, evangelising best practices in low-code development. 

You’re the innovator we need if you have:

Required:

    • 5+ years in pre-sales engineering or a similar technical customer-facing role.
    • A good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS) and/or experience in building applications (JS will be a plus).
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to guide customers toward the best solution, not just the easiest option.
    • Ability to work independently and stay effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred:
    • Familiarity with application architecture, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, and integration patterns.
    • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, and consulting engagements will be a plus.
    • Proven experience in enterprise software sales and presenting to C-level executives.
