Regional Security Officer – Europe (f/m/d)

What part will you play
- Own regional security implementation: Lead the Regional Security Office and the Country Security network to ensure our standards and processes are implemented and complied with across EUC.
- Partner with business leadership: Advise Regional Company CEOs and management on security strategy, incident/crisis management, reporting, and investigations; provide tactical guidance on security matters.
- Develop and execute regional security strategy: Monitor the security environment, conduct threat/risk assessments, adapt local procedures, and oversee security audits - prioritizing activities that support business goals.
- Build resilient structures: Establish and maintain effective security and crisis management structures and stakeholder relationships across functions (e.g., Real Estate, EHS, IT, Compliance).
- Drive transformation and innovation: Contribute feedback to HQ functional departments, support organizational development, and foster innovation in processes and technologies.
- Cultivate networks: Liaise with authorities, law enforcement, external partners, and peers to apply best practices and deliver cost‑effective security.
- Plan and steward resources: Operate within the budget framework under the Head of Global Security and contribute to global planning of budget and resources.
What you need to bring
- Relevant academic degree or professional qualification from a recognized security authority or ≥ 10 years equivalent security experience (e.g., law/regulatory enforcement).
- Corporate security expertise: ≥ 3 years in corporate security or a comparable commercial setting, including hands‑on incident/crisis management in an international organization.
- Deep knowledge of security issues across EUC and the region’s diverse country contexts.
- Proven team leadership and people development experience (≈10+ years), with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience driving projects and implementing processes; ability to prioritize and perform under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - credible from operational staff to CEOs/senior management.
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Office tools.
- Languages: very good German and English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel across the region, including to remote areas (~30%).
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Siemens processes (e.g., ACP, IR@S, PM@Siemens).
What we offer
- Senior Management Position with attractive remuneration package of Siemens. The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for this position is EUR 118,412.00 (full-time basis).

- Direct reporting line to the Head of Global Security Implementation and Lead Country CFO in Austria.
